Feeding your kitten: How much and how often?
Feeding requirements vary greatly from one kitten to another and feeding the right amount of kitten food at the proper intervals can be a challenge.     Healthy food and kitten gobbles it down. I personally like the approach Science Diet takes to balanced nutritional, even if the food is not all organic or natural. Good product, great price, and kitty loves the food!

    I bought this for an elderly cat with health problems who needs to gain weight, coincidentally I have a new kitten as well. All 4 of my cats love this food, none like the wet food. This is now their forever food.

    My two kittens have sensitive stomachs so my Vet recommended Science Diet. It helped them and I could not be any more pleased. It is worth the price to see the results of happy pets that are healthy.

    Pretty Good, there are better choices for some.

    This food is much better than cheap store brand type kibble, however while a cut above most it still has ingredients that I would not see in the Premium Brands such as Wellness, Ivo and such.
    For the increase in price from the cheap stuff it is much better for the little sweeties. It is a very good compromise.
    I foster kittens all the time and most of them love the stuff and their coats are very shiny.

    Fortunately, my kittens have had no ill behaviors while eating this food like the previous reviewers cat. I mixed this in with my Purina Kitten Chow that my kittens were eating and the kittens seemed to really love it. My other two, one year old cats were also fond of “stealing” the kittens dry food instead of their usual Iams (where real chicken is the main ingredient), so this must be tasty. Usually, I just feed my cats dry food on a free choice basis and supplement with canned cat food and boiled chicken meat. My only gripe is this isn’t a dry food that someone on a strict budget could likely readily afford on a regular basis for a number of cats. Otherwise, this is a good quality kitten food.

    This is a healthy and great kitten food. Only 4 stars,, as it might help if different flavours could be found – kitten and cats do get bored with the same food.

    Great for my pets, i have been using it since the 90′s. My Bengal’s cat coat looks incredible, shiny health and she is health. my other two cats started on this food after i got them from the shelter in December and they look health now and big :) Will continue feeding them their Science Diet

    My cat likes them. I think.. I hope. I used to give her Fancy Feast and that gave her diarrhea. I switched her to this and she tolerates it well.

    When I received my kitten, he was already on this food. I did check out a couple other types of food, but found this to be the best for my kitten’s overall health needs & he is quite content with it.
