Candle wax is not toxic and it will pass in his stool. Most waxes used for candles are non-toxic. And waxes are usually indigestable by humans and animals. The only problems would occur if there is something in the wax that could be toxic. Call the company that makes the candle and find out if there is any toxins, like essential oils or scented chemicals, in the candle.
No, it probably won’t kill him or make him sick.
Water[saliva} isn’t going to work on candle wax.You might want to think about removing it with scissors. It’ll look odd,but the fur will grow back
No it won’t hurt him at all if he licks it.
You can’t wash it off with water. It will just crumble on it’s own and drop off.
Be careful with lighted candles around cats and kittens. They can set fire to their tails if not careful.
I’m not sure whether it would kill your kitten, but I wouldn’t say it was advisable to let him lick it off just in case. Could you not just cut the fur off which has the candle wax on? His hair will grow back and it will prevent the wax from irritating his skin.
Hope this helps
Try brushing it out since candlewax isn’t that hard to remove.
Cat’s love the feeling of a comb or brush.
If it has a vanilla smell it’s most likely a chemical. That may or may not be harmful. Don’t take that chance.
How’d he get candle wax on his fur in the first place?
prob not. but call the candle company and ask.
i agree: CUT IT OFF!
