My kitten is licking/biting my fingers? Does he want to eat my finger or something…?

He is only about 3 months old and we have had him for like a month. I think I’m his true owner. He follows me everywhere, I bathe him, I feed him, Clean the litter box, Play with him. He keeps like licking and biting my fingers…um, is this normal? Does he want to eat my finger or something, Lol.

He is still young enough to remember the pleasure of getting milk from his mother you have replaced her and he feels comfortable enough with you to try and nurse from you. The behavior will stop when he feels like the milk is never coming back and he no longer needs that familiar kitten feeling.
my cat does that whenever she feels like i’m not giving her enough attention. she also does it when i’m petting her and she doesn’t want me to stop.
yes its very normal for kittens to do that. kittens like to bite and lick fingers because it reminds them or when they were feeding off their mothers nipples. this should stop after about 6-8 months. also, it is a playful thing that kittens will do when they are young. hope this helps!!!
Sure it’s normal, kitties like the taste and smell of things, including us. My 9 month old kitty still loooves chewing my fingers – probably because I encourage it!!

both of my cats do this. they are playing! When they lick you, it is like when they groom themselves or each other. it means you are part of their group and they love you.
It is a sign of affection. Similar to nursing, it is an attachment. Baby loves you! Kind of like a ‘love bite’!
This is a way of cats trying to get your attention. Don’t worry; It’s perfectly normal.
Yes this is normal. 2 reasons. 1: He loves you and he’s so used to you he always wants to be with you. And 2: You have a certain smell or animal smell on you fingers that he likes.Hope you like my idea and please rate!
