My kitten licked me and now my lip is swollen, why?

I have an 8 week old kitten and she licked my chin and bottom lip and now my lip is red and swollen, why?

yea i dont know, but that happend to me a couple of times….probably just an allegic reaction to the rought texture and saliva lol….no worries!!
It could be completely unrelated, or maybe you’re slightly allergic to cats?
You might be allergic to it’s saliva.
Maybe the roughness of the cats tongue disturbed your sensitive lips..
You have no idea of what she was licking before she licked you. You probs don’t want to know either.

Cats’ tongues are very scratchy and it probably irritated your skin. Or you might have an allergy.
you may be allergic to something that the kitten ate or the kitten itself. or you may just have sensitive lips,and cats tongues are rough so it may just be a temporary irritation. or you may have had chapped lips and the cats rough tongue irritated it more than normal
did you have an open cut or a wound on your lip cats do lick their genitals you know is not to sanitary to be locking lips with a cute kitten lol jk but you might wanna get it checked out by a doctor you may be allergic or have some funky issue now
you mite be having an allergic reaction! either to the kitten or sumthing that it had in its mouth.try washing your face or go to the pharmacy n buy allergy pills. if that fails you should see a doctor.
maybe you had a cut on your lip already and the saliva irritated it, or she accidentally scratched you? The only other thing would be you’re allergic to her spit?
